Beanstorm

Everyone gets the same category at the same time: a fruit, a capital in Europe, a word that rhymes with bean. Type one answer before the clock runs out. A right answer scores, a rarer one more, and an answer nobody else in the room gave doubles. Then see everyone's answers, the rarest ones with a fact each, and the totals.

How to play

1. Everyone sees the same category and the same countdown, each on their own phone or laptop.
2. Type one answer. Spelling is forgiven; if it isn't sure, it asks "Did you mean…?"
3. A right answer scores by how rare it is, from 10 to 100. Nobody else said it: double. Somebody did too: half.
4. The reveal shows everyone's answers and the rarest ones you could have had. Totals at the end.
